One Night In Bolton
Bolton Octagon, 2021New community play commissioned by the Octagon to open its redeveloped theatre in 2020, co-directed with Artistic Director Lotte Wakeham. Postponed due to Covid, the show was reimagined as an audio drama and broadcast on Bolton FM.
One Night in Bolton tells the stories of Julie and Ray – two fictional audience members who were at the opening night of the original theatre in 1967. From that eventful night through to the present day, this is a celebratory, uplifting story about the Octagon, growing up and what makes a community.
